Today, TARUS and VERAX ERP were showcased in the Detroit Metromode as part of their 40th anniversary of moving to Sterling Heights.
Starting out of a garage in Warren, Michigan in 1969, TARUS moved to a facility in Hazel Park as it grew. After several years of dramatic expansion, TARUS was in need of a new home and it chose Sterling Heights.
More decades of growth followed and the company was passed on to Dave and Doug Greig, sons of the founder of TARUS.
A key part of TARUS' incredible story was the development of a full-blown ERP system in 2015. Named VERAX (Latin for truth-teller) the VERAX ERP platform, initially built for internal use, has transformed company operations and profitability.
Now sold to manufacturers with customers in the US and Canada, VERAX is a robust ERP with capabilities to handle all operations at most manufacturing companies.
"Its been a great story of growth and innovation" states George Cook, Vice President of TARUS. "We're particularly excited about the 2.0 version of VERAX to show to customers in North America."
