TARUS welcomed Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler to our facility during National Small Business Week.
Administrator Loeffler is the 28th Administrator of the Small Business Administration and came to Michigan from Washington DC for a number of SBA-related events.
TARUS was delighted to host Administrator Loeffler for a facility tour, where she spoke with employees, learning about what TARUS manufactures and eager to share how the SBA helps small businesses like ours.
She was shown the full range of TARUS vertically-integrated manufacturing operations, from front office, to software development, engineering, milling, quality, waterjet, grind, weld, paint, electrical, and final assembly.
Loeffler stated: "TARUS is one of the few large-volume CNC machine manufacturers in America - but what stands out is the ingenuity behind the solutions they deliver across industries. Here in Michigan, they are building the machines that build everything else!"
Administrator Loeffler gave CEO Dave Greig and VP George Cook a challenge coin as a memento of her visit, a tremendous surprise for both.
George Cook, Vice President stated: "It was our honor to have Administrator Loeffler come to TARUS and hear our story and see what we do. She came with an eagerness to learn our business and show how the SBA can help companies like ours. We're deeply grateful and it's something our employees will remember."
