Yesterday TARUS was honored by the City of Sterling Heights for 40 years of corporate citizenship.
The honor was given to TARUS as part of the City Council meeting on 2025-05-20. Present were the current co-owners, brothers Dave Greig, CEO and Doug Greig, Executive Vice President, as well as founder Doug Greig Sr. Several employees from TARUS were also present to celebrate this honor.
As part of the City Council honor, Sterling Heights produced a video highlighting our background and accomplishments that was shown to those who convened. (left).
"The support from the City of Sterling Heights over the past 40 years has been excellent. It started with tax abatements and other incentives in the mid-1980s. It continues to this day with our working relationship with the City's Economic Development team, lead by Luke Bonner.
The support they bring - from resources, information, making connections, to coming to our facility to learn firsthand our challenges and needs has always been impressive. They take an active interest in our prosperity and is something we are truly grateful for.
We at TARUS are very proud to call Sterling Heights home. There's no place TARUS would rather be." said George Cook, Vice President at TARUS.
