Yesterday TARUS had the honor of hosting the Bi-Partisan Michigan State Caucus for Aerospace and Defense for a TARUS facility tour.
There’s a big push to make critical machine tools and equipment for strategic industries like Defense and Aerospace, made in America, by American owned companies.
TARUS is one of the 2 to 5 remaining companies in the United States making the types of machines we do, that fit this rubric.
And TARUS is the only company in Michigan who makes this type of critical machinery for strategic industries. Located in Sterling Heights, TARUS is Michigan's answer to the needs of Aerospace and Defense to obtain American tooling, made in America, by an American-owned company.
We brought the legislators and others who attended up to speed with our latest developments, like our new Gundrill/Deep Hole drilling machine we’re building for customers in the nuclear industry, which also has defense applications. We also showcased our very large, high-precision 5-axis CNC machines that are crucial to making large, critical parts for American Aerospace and Defense.
TARUS also showcased developments in our VERAX ERP platform, which will help transform manufacturers in Michigan, Automation Alley and beyond to adopt Industry 4.0 objectives.
